I gradually developed an extreme soreness/pain in my upper left calf yesterday. Initially I thought it was temporary stiffness from sitting at my desk for too long. But it continued to worsen and has persisted. Now I think it was delayed soreness from Tuesday morning’s workout. I’m guessing is it is from the single leg bridge, the heavy KB swings, neither of which I have done recently, combined with prolonged sitting.
I planned to train this morning, but reconsidered. If I’m dealing with an injury this would be the time to recover. Also, if I am compensating for an injury I increase the risk of further injury.
